Please join us on Saturday, April 4th at the Price Center in San Marcos to celebrate Harper Claes as the 2026-2027 Hays Youth Poet Laureate. We will be joined by our 2026 HYPL judge, Carrie Fountain, and the 2023 Texas Poet Laureate, ire’ne lara silva, who will read from their own poetry collections.
We will also be joined by the 2025 HYPL winner, Adelie Donovan, and the 2026 finalists, Gavin Barrows and Mosley Daniel.
Snacks and light refreshments will be served.
